Corrections Policy

Vigor Atlas distinguishes a material correction from an ordinary editorial update. We do not create correction history when no correction occurred.

Reporting a factual issue

Our public reporting channel is being finalized. The current status is maintained on the contact page. We do not collect issue reports through an unverified form.

Evaluation

Reported issues are checked against the article's cited sources, claim records, approved revision, and publication history. Internal reviewer notes and administrator identities remain private.

Material corrections

When an approved correction changes a material factual statement, the public article can show the correction date, a concise description, and the affected section when available. Previous revisions remain retained internally for accountability.

Updates are different

An updated date represents a recorded editorial change. It is not changed by a page view, deployment, sitemap generation, or unrelated metadata work. A correction is listed separately only when an approved correction record exists.
